  1. I absolutely love this! We talked about sewing and all of her fabric. I learned to sew when I was 11 and used make all of my own dresses. Pants never worked out that well. I was one of the only girls in my 6th and 7th grade home economics classes who could sew and instead of making the very easy patterns we had to choose from, i got permission to make harder items. I made a blouse and a denim vest with top stitching! I learned to smock when my daughter was 3 and made adorable outfits for her and those cute john johns for my boys…thanks to the Smocking Bird in Homewood! Please continue to post, she loved her blog and so do we!

    • Sewing and everything Wibby displayed in her report is a dying art. I think I will take up learning to crochet. I never got past granny squares! My granny could crochet anything. It would make her proud if I learned how. Thanks Margaret.
